|Area of Operation:

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. This is our primary purpose, and everything else we do supports that aim.
More than half our homes are general needs properties, charged at social or affordable rent levels. In addition, we offer extra care and supported accommodation for older people and other vulnerable groups.
Our growth over the decades has given tens of thousands of people a place to call home, and Notting Hill Genesis is committed to giving future generations the same opportunities.
The sponsorship money raised by our runners is used to help the people we house by providing:
- Hardship Fund - Many individuals and families are struggling to survive in these harsh times of high unemployment and benefit cuts. The Hardship Fund provides emergency grants to those in most need
- An Activities Officer - Organised activities giving residents something to look forward to and offer a chance to socialise
- A Volunteer Programme - Brings together people with a wide range of skills to meet the needs of our most vulnerable tenants
- Partnership Officers - Linking together residents with local agencies who offer support with employment, debt advice, IT skills and mental health.
