For 40 years Leukaemia UK has been working to fund innovative and effective research into finding a cure and better treatments for leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders. Leukaemia UK also works with hospitals and clinicians to improve the care for people living with blood cancer.
Leukaemia UK understands that behind every diagnosis are families and individuals who need help. Leukaemia UK will support those affected by blood cancer, through the physical, psychological and financial uncertainty that lies ahead.
Over the last four decades, Leukaemia UK has supported a series of research projects which have led to significant advances in the treatment of blood cancers.
From 1977 until November 2017 Leukaemia UK was named the Elimination of Leukaemia Fund.
